Strengthening organizations through intentional collaboration

Starting at the end

An Outcome-Focused Philosophy

As every organization’s context is different, so too are the outcomes each is trying to achieve through coaching, workshops, etc. By starting with a desired outcome and understanding the context in which we’re operating, we then can choose which experiments we want to run and practices we’ll employ to influence the system around us.

This means that there are no “canned” workshops or presentations that are the same every time. Each interaction will facilitate genuine human connection, which will help us achieve those desired outcomes more effectively, together.

COLLABORATION OFFERINGS

Organizational Systems Thinking & Design

All organizations are complex, adaptive systems of humans and systems (and humans and systems…) So let’s take a holistic approach to “see the system” and make organizational structure & design choices together.

Opportunities in this space:

  • team design & self-selection
  • value stream identification
  • vision crafting
  • goal setting (OKRs, or similar)
  • strategic choices

Continuous Improvement Culture

Let’s create a culture of continuous improvement through discovery and retrospectives.

Opportunities in this realm:

  • organizational dynamics retrospectives
  • program, team, and project retrospectives
  • aligned principles & practices working agreements
  • lightweight internal conferences (including open space)
  • cross-functional hackathons

Curating Space for Learning

Organizations that create space for learning, growing, and experimenting are better equipped to withstand shifting market, economic, and even technological landscapes. Let’s explore the value of “learning out loud” in your space.

Opportunities for curation:

  • open space gatherings, or un-conferences
  • communities of practice
  • coaching and/or leadership circles
  • learning celebrations
  • knowledge exploration interviews (audio, video, print)

FEEDBACK

Thanks for improving the experience for remote attendees of large meetings. It’s very evident when that’s not happening, and definitely didn’t get the accolades it deserved at the time when it was done well.

Steve S, Sr. Manager, Product Development

Since Kristen has joined the team, I believe it has led to consistent elevation of all of our knowledge, culture of experimenting and innovating, and raising our game.

Michelle C, pair coach & facilitator

Kristen exhibits the differentiating characteristic of a great versus a good coach, which is the courage to act even in the face of fear. Not to mention she has the grit to see things through to completion.

Brandon, Client Success Lead, Cprime

Kristen cares deeply about the clients she works with, and puts great thought and effort into coming up with a bespoke solution when necessary.

Emily H, Sr. Agile Coach & long-time collaborator

Participants universally remarked on her ability to connect with her listeners/learners and to adapt her presentation style and energy to fit their needs.

Training Program Facilitator

Each conversation with Kristen begins with human connection – regardless of whether it’s a 1:1 or a 50 person meeting, Kristen is able to quickly and deftly create common ground with those around her, and build trust through honesty & vulnerability.
